Sunday Mornings
We welcome all families and feel honored to care for your kids. On Sunday morning the children take part in worship with the congregation (11am). Before the Sermon, (11:40am) they are released to their age-specific class (Ages 5-12). Children are picked up from their designated class after worship service.
We have incredible teachers who help contribute to the safety, care, and creativity of our children’s program. We seek to help our youngest participants learn how God loves them unconditionally through Old and New Testament bible stories, games, arts, crafts and special activities. We understand the importance of play, curiosity, and laughter as part of a child’s spiritual formation. On the 4th Sunday, the children take part in our Urban worship service. Thursday Afternoons
We offer a free mid-week program for 4-year-olds through 5th graders. We meet every Thursday during the school year except for holidays and welcome all! We love seeing neighborhood families and church families each Thursday.
Our Kidz Klub program offers games, crafts, Bible story time, musical enrichment, and dinner! Children are divided into three groups based on age: Preschool through Kindergarten, first/second grades and third through fifth grade. Our older children learn to sing, act, dance and play instruments. Children are also invited to sing during our worship service on 4th Sunday. They participate in 2 special musicals during the year, Easter and Christmas.

This church offers a mid-week program for 4-year-olds through 5th graders. Children must be 4 years old by September 1, 2023 to participate. We meet every Thursday during the school year except for holidays. For the 2023-2024 school year, we will start on August 30. The emphasis is on music. However, we also have games, crafts, and Bible study. For most of the activities, children are divided into three groups based on age. The groups are: 4 years through kindergarten, first and second grade, and third grade through fifth grade. Activities are held in Westminster Hall with dinner across the street in Richardson Hall.
Drop-off and pick-up are in Westminster Hall, which is located at 500 Farragut Circle right next to the Sanctuary. Dinners are 'kid-friendly'. We have cupcakes once a month to celebrate birthdays; but, otherwise, no desserts. Children will sing during the church worship service periodically. They will also participate in 2 major performances during the year. We performed “Just Believe” in December and “Splash Kingdom” in May. There is no charge for this program. We do expect good behavior. Children will respect the staff and other children. Appropriate language is expected. Bullying will not be tolerated.
