In the heart of our city stands a weathered building, once filled with echoes of the past, now poised to be reborn as a beacon of hope for those in need. This is the story of our journey to transform a neglected space into a nurturing sanctuary for transitioning foster care youth or other at-risk youth (ages 18-24) —a place where every room holds the promise of a brighter future.

Imagine twelve rooms, each a blank canvas awaiting the brushstrokes of compassion and care. What was once a forgotten structure now pulses with the energy of possibility. Here, we see more than just walls and floors; we envision a haven where young hearts can heal and dreams can take flight.

For too long, youth leaving the foster care system have faced the daunting prospect of navigating the world on their own. The transition from foster care to independent living is fraught with challenges—housing instability, lack of support networks, and the overwhelming weight of uncertainty. But within these walls, we see an opportunity to rewrite their story.

With unwavering determination, we roll up our sleeves and embark on the journey of renovation. Each nail hammered, each coat of paint applied, is a testament to our commitment to these youth.
